JOE OLIVER AT 90

Joe Oliver is a distant relative of the artist through marriage. Joe Oliver's brother-in-law was Olin Travis who painted scenes of Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana from the 40s through the 60s. Olin and his wife were both artists and Mr. Travis painted murals in the Hall of State at Fairpark in Dallas, Texas. Mr Van Voorhees and his wife lived in Olin's house in Forest Hills section of Dallas in the 80's and 90's.
